My name is Patricia D and I am a female carer with extensive experience in providing live-in and overnight care. Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of clients, including those with Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, and mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. I have developed a deep understanding of their unique needs and how to provide the best possible care and support.
While I am unable to drive and do not own a car, my expertise lies in assisting clients with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and catheter care. I understand the importance of maintaining a sense of dignity and independence for those in my care, and I take great satisfaction in helping them achieve this. Additionally, I offer companionship and a listening ear, ensuring my clients feel valued and supported.
When I am not caring for others, I enjoy pursuing my hobbies, which include cooking and baking. I have a passion for trying out new recipes and experimenting with different cuisines. Socializing is important to me, as I believe it helps to create a sense of community and belonging. Music also plays a significant role in my life, as I find it soothing and therapeutic.
In terms of pet preferences, I particularly enjoy the company of fish, rabbits, and turtles. Their presence brings joy and tranquility to any home.
